Today’s Nomads

Back in 2012, I was accepted into a community of poor people located near a landfill in Cluj-Napoca, a place that is considered dangerous because of the many negative incidents that occurred there. I first went there without knowing anything about the bad things that happened to other visitors of the place. Despite those things, I befriended the children there and their parents in a short period of time. After that, I continued to visit them, to take pictures of them and to give them the printed images. When I was shooting, my main purpose was to highlight their beauty, which exists in people’s simplicity itself, despite the poverty and living conditions. The photos taken there were published in art circles, where they were appreciated and awarded.
Since then, I joined many communities like the first one all around Romania and aim to show the world the beauty that lies into the things, people and places they are afraid of.
